WHAT WE VALUE

RELATIONSHIP

We believe true spiritual growth happens best in the context of transparent, authentic relationships. We invest in the lives of others, share each other’s burdens and rejoice in each other’s victories. We consider others more important than ourselves.

Proverbs 27:17; Acts 2:46

WORSHIP

Mankind was created to Worship God. Worship serves to develop our loving relationship with God. We believe worship should be honoring to God and uplifting to the congregation. We believe our style of worship plays a significant role in determining who comes through our doors. Our worship style is focused on reaching the lost in our community as well as the spiritual growth of our attendees.

Psalm 100:2 John 4:22b-24

LIFE CHANGE

Jesus restores, renews, heals, and changes lives. Christ followers are on a lifelong journey of becoming like Him. Since our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit and instruments of righteousness, we must keep our bodies clean and consecrated for the Lord’s use.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Romans 6:13 Ephesians 4:22-24 Hebrews 12:1

PRAYER

Prayer is essential to maintaining a God-centered life. Prayer is central to everything we do. We consistently pray over our members, guests, ministries, leaders and volunteers, and God's vision for our church.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Philippians 4:4-7 Colossians 4:2

SERVICE

We are commissioned to serve one another in the body of Christ. Jesus commanded us to love one another. One of the most practical ways we can truly love our brothers and sisters in Christ is to serve each other using the spiritual gifts that God has given to us.

Galatians 5:13 Colossians 3:23-24

STEWARDSHIP

All we possess comes from God and belongs to God. We demonstrate our thankfulness by using our resources wisely and not allowing them to control us or set our priorities. We consider ourselves stewards, and give wisely and generously to expand the kingdom of God.

Matthew 6:19-21 1 Timothy 6:17-19 Matthew 6:1-4 Acts 20:35 2 Corinthians 8:7

FAMILY

Family is the core foundation of society and of the church. We believe a God-honoring Christian walk must manifest itself in family life. We believe in spending quality time with our family, praying together, learning together, and worshipping together.

Colossians 3:18-21 1Timothy 5:4-8

BIBLICAL TEACHING

The Bible is inerrant and infallible, and is the guide for all faith and practice. We are committed to accurately teaching and preaching Holy Scripture at every opportunity.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 Hebrews 4:12 John 8:31-32

LEADERSHIP

Everything rises or falls on leadership. Excellent leadership modeled after Jesus will be the catalysis to fulfillment of our church mission. Leadership development must be a priority. We strive to develop dynamic, creative, and Spirit-filled leaders who will serve Christ, the Church, and the community with integrity and skill while equipping others to do the same.

Hebrews 13:17 Exodus 18:21 Deuteronomy 1:13 Proverbs 11:14 Isaiah 6:8 1 Chronicles 12:32

OUTREACH

Lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the church. We want our primary focus to be on people, not programs. We believe our lives ought to compel our unsaved friends and neighbors to want to experience our joy. We believe that Jesus' message of salvation is for all people and that we are commissioned to deliver His message to those beyond our borders and our walls that they too will receive His grace.

Acts 5:20 Matthew 28:19 2 Corinthians 9:2 Philippians 4:4 Matthew 18:14 Luke 5:30-32

NEXT GENERATION

Every child is a gift of God. The greatest investment we can make as a church is in our next generation of children and youth. Jesus said "Let the children come to Me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." We believe a fun, creative, and Biblically sound program provides fertile soil for the development of our next generation.
